Dermatology Service Update

From 1 April 2026, the Dermatology service currently provided by HCRG Care Group will be delivered by DMC Healthcare, a clinically led, CQC-registered provider of NHS services.

If you are currently receiving care from the Dermatology service, or are waiting for an appointment, your care will continue as planned. You may continue to see some of the same clinical team and attend appointments at the same location.

Your medical records will be securely transferred to DMC Healthcare so they can continue your care without interruption. DMC Healthcare will contact you when your appointment is due.

If you have any questions about your care in the meantime, please continue to contact the Dermatology service as usual.

Special requirements

North and North East Lincolnshire Dermatology is fully compliant with the Disability Discrimination Act. All patient information guides are available in Braille, on disk and in large print if required.

If you require assistance or wheelchair access when visiting the practice, please let us know in advance or upon arrival. You may do so by telephoning us on 01482 638 571.

Chaperones

If you want to have someone with you during your appointment then you can request a chaperone. This could be a trained member of our staff or a person of your choosing who is over 18 years old. The clinician will consider whether or not it is appropriate for a relative or friend to act as a chaperone and may ask for a member of staff to also be present. Please let us know before your appointment if you would like a chaperone to be present.

If either the patient or the clinician wishes a chaperone to be present or either is uncomfortable with the choice of chaperone, the appointment may be delayed to a later date when a chaperone or alternative chaperone is available.
