Dermatology Service Update

From 1 April 2026, the Dermatology service currently provided by HCRG Care Group will be delivered by DMC Healthcare, a clinically led, CQC-registered provider of NHS services.

If you are currently receiving care from the Dermatology service, or are waiting for an appointment, your care will continue as planned. You may continue to see some of the same clinical team and attend appointments at the same location.

Your medical records will be securely transferred to DMC Healthcare so they can continue your care without interruption. DMC Healthcare will contact you when your appointment is due.

If you have any questions about your care in the meantime, please continue to contact the Dermatology service as usual.

Health Care at Home

HCRG Care Group work in partnership with Lloyds to provide home care support for patients on biologics, this includes:

  • Delivering medicine to patients at home at regular intervals
  • Providing all the necessary medical equipment for their treatment
  • Nursing care and support from highly-qualified professionals
  • Comprehensive training from a nurse where appropriate
  • Clinical waste collection and disposal

The clinical team at HCRG Care Group will prescribe the service users medicines according to their individual needs, and this will determine the frequency of deliveries to the patients home. Lloyds call the patient to make arrangements for their first and subsequent deliveries of medicines and necessary medical supplies such as sharps bins.

Who can access this service?

Your GP will assess your referral and determine if our service is appropriate for you. We carefully consider all referrals through clinical triage to ensure that we provide the best care for those who need it most. If your referral is not accepted, please know that we will work with your GP to find the right solution for you.
