Dermatology Service Update

From 1 April 2026, the Dermatology service currently provided by HCRG Care Group will be delivered by DMC Healthcare, a clinically led, CQC-registered provider of NHS services.

If you are currently receiving care from the Dermatology service, or are waiting for an appointment, your care will continue as planned. You may continue to see some of the same clinical team and attend appointments at the same location.

Your medical records will be securely transferred to DMC Healthcare so they can continue your care without interruption. DMC Healthcare will contact you when your appointment is due.

If you have any questions about your care in the meantime, please continue to contact the Dermatology service as usual.

Patient Participation Group

We have established a local patient group for the service which is used as a forum to review and improve our services. The patient group meets regularly to discuss patients’ views about the service and helps us to shape the service around you. To become involved, please call the service on 01482 638 571.

Who can access this service?

Your GP will assess your referral and determine if our service is appropriate for you. We carefully consider all referrals through clinical triage to ensure that we provide the best care for those who need it most. If your referral is not accepted, please know that we will work with your GP to find the right solution for you.
