Dermatology Service Update

From 1 April 2026, the Dermatology service currently provided by HCRG Care Group will be delivered by DMC Healthcare, a clinically led, CQC-registered provider of NHS services.

If you are currently receiving care from the Dermatology service, or are waiting for an appointment, your care will continue as planned. You may continue to see some of the same clinical team and attend appointments at the same location.

Your medical records will be securely transferred to DMC Healthcare so they can continue your care without interruption. DMC Healthcare will contact you when your appointment is due.

If you have any questions about your care in the meantime, please continue to contact the Dermatology service as usual.

We have a team of experienced consultants, specialist GPs and specialist nurses that are committed to providing you the highest standard of care and treatment.

Our reception and administration staff are here to help you with general enquiries such as appointment booking/cancellation and processing repeat prescriptions requests.

Service manager

We have a service manager who is responsible for managing these services ensuring our services are safe, effective, responsive and well led

Staff

Our team includes a mixture of specialisations and professions such as:

  • Lead consultant/clinical lead
  • Consultant
  • GP with a special interest in dermatology
  • Lead nurse
  • Skin cancer nurse specialist
  • Health care assistants
  • MDT and patient coordinator

Who can access this service?

Your GP will assess your referral and determine if our service is appropriate for you. We carefully consider all referrals through clinical triage to ensure that we provide the best care for those who need it most. If your referral is not accepted, please know that we will work with your GP to find the right solution for you.
